NEET that used to be conducted in pen-and-paper based formats will be a computer-based exam from 2019 onwards. As per the news, NEET will now be conducted in February and May every year henceforth for a single admission process.
The tests will be held on multiple days and will give the student the liberty to choose the dates and centers as per their convenience. The different difficulty levels in the tests will be equated by a special standardization technique to determine the final score. The best of the equated scores will be used during admissions. New computer-based NEET Exam pattern is believed to make the whole exam taking process transparent, leak-proof, convenient and up to international standards.
